In short
The app talks only to your LineSafer router. There are no accounts, no LineSafer servers, no ads and no usage statistics collected by us.
What the app does with data
- Your network's data (devices, traffic, events, profiles) is read from your router and shown on the phone. We do not store it or send it to anyone.
- The router access key and its certificate stay in the phone's protected storage. You delete them with «Disconnect this phone» or by uninstalling the app; you can revoke the key at any time in the router's panel.
- The connection to the router is encrypted (HTTPS) and the app checks that the certificate is your router's. Away from home it goes through Tailscale, if you use it: traffic is encrypted end to end.
- The camera is used only to read the QR code shown by the panel. Images are neither saved nor sent.
- The language you choose stays on the phone.
Third-party services
To read the QR code the app uses Google's ML Kit, which runs on the phone. ML Kit sends Google technical diagnostic and usage data (phone model and system, app version, response times, an installation identifier), encrypted and not passed to third parties, as described in Google's ML Kit data page. It receives neither the images nor the content of the code.
Children
The app is meant for parents managing the home network, not for children.
